Misha Krushnic

Misha Krushnic, class of ‘88, finds success as a film and television actor

After attending the Greenfield Center School, Misha graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon in 1992. In the following year, he pursued a wide variety of interests, including a job at NPR headquarters, a White House internship, construction work, and an EMT certification course. He then went on to the University of Chicago where he studied social theory. After college, Misha moved to Washington, DC with his girlfriend Vicky (now his wife) and started an educational software company.

Then, on a lark, Misha decided to take an acting class, and soon found himself in the midst of a career change. He got

Ariel Spira-Cohen,
class of ‘91

I graduated from the Greenfield Center School in 1991, and wore my graduation band for many many years afterwards— I even lost it once at summer camp and spent three days searching before I finally found it…

After Center School I attended Frontier Regional High School and then Northfield Mount Hermon, where I graduated in 1995. I then went on to Vassar College, where I studied for a semester in Latin America and graduated in 1999 with a self-designed major called ‘Science, Technology and Society.’

Through sharing stories with my friends in college, I realized that I actually had very FOND memories

of my early school years. It seemed that the norm for everyone else was that elementary school was a semi-traumatic time in their lives. For me, I actually had FUN!

I remember trying to explain to my friends in college about the game shows we used to play at All School meetings, math problems we solved using rods, academic themes like Make-Clay-Float, and the fact that I knew what a derivative was before taking algebra!  I also realized sometime in college, when I was faced with a million
